Carolina founded La Lola in 2018 after a decade of cooking for friends, family, and anyone who happened to walk into her kitchen at the right hour.
Her cooking is rooted in Venezuelan tradition and shaped by the way Houston eats — open, layered, and unafraid of generosity. She still runs every menu development herself, leads the kitchen on event days, and has a soft spot for the small moments: a guest going back for thirds, the sound of a good kitchen.
She works with a team of women she's trained and trusted for years. Together, they cook around 200 events a year — most of them, the kind people remember.
